Melina Almodóvar (born Ilsa Melina Almodóvar Sánchez in Santurce, Puerto Rico), also known as La Muñeca de la Salsa and La Chica Del Bling, is a Puerto Rican salsa singer, songwriter, dancer, and entertainer. Known for her high-energy performances and salsa dancing skills, she combines old-school salsa moves with contemporary styles of dancing and singing. She is also credited with establishing the first successful salsa orchestra in the Southern United States, Orquesta Caliente.

As a collaborator with some great icons in the Latin Music arena such as Bobby Cruz and Tito Puente JR and others she was able to participate in many album recordings and concerts in distinct places such as the coliseum of Puerto Rico and regular schedule in the renowned Ball and Chain in Miami.

Since 2014, Melina has been involved with the Hollywood Salsa Festival in Florida that is the grand finale of our Salsa Week at the Festival. And she has been producing this event since 2004. Animal lover, Melina also enjoys spending time with the elderly. This time she will be accompanied by 2 incredible musicians, Luigi Flores on the piano/keyboard and Juan Pablo Camacho on the Conga.
